Welcome to the 3rd International on Congress Bioactive Compounds - ICBC

 

It is with great honor that we invite everyone to participate in ICBC on December 10th and 11th, 2024!

The food sector has an extremely important place in the world today, as it is key to healthy nutrition, which has been desired by consumers, with the aim of promoting quality of life and reducing the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases. In this context, functional foods have unequivocal relevance as they guarantee the supply of nutrients and bioactive substances.

Faced with growing global challenges, the link between academia and industry is of fundamental importance for generating knowledge and development throughout the entire production chain, from research to the consumer. Thus, following the most important trends in the area, this year's theme is “Functional Foods as the Cornerstone of Healthy Nutrition: Linking Academia and Industry”. In this context, we will have lectures from the most renowned national and international professionals in the field.

This year, the congress will be held in a hybrid format. The in-person format will be at the UNICAMP Convention Center and the online format will feature live broadcast of the event. Additionally, we will have the work published in a special edition of an international scientific journal with a selective editorial policy.
